Radisson Hôtel Bordeaux Saint-Jean

I stayed for 3 nights with my grown-up daughter. Ideal location for the airport & getting the tram into the city - only about 6 stops. Right beside the bus station which we caught the coach back to the airport on our return for only €15 between us (30-Direct). 3 minute walk from the hotel to the tram stop & 1 stop on the tram for the train station. Great little hotel. All very pleasant with comfy beds & exceptionally clean. Would return for sure but highly recommend.

Near to station , we arrived by train. Our top tip - if using the station would be to find Halles 3 ( there's a tunnel that goes under the platforms to the 'back' of the station ) and the Radisson is only 5 mins walk from there. Google maps took us a long way round. Warm welcome from reception staff. Comfortable room. Good value.

Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Wait staff were professional, friendly and attentive. Meal was very pleasing. Breakfast in the same room next morning was also very satisfactory. I have stayed here before and that's why I added this to our itinerary this year. Didn't disappoint. Members of my group were very happy with the location, staff, rooms and restaurant. It was a quick visit, but would recommend for a longer stay as well.

The facility was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The food prices were fair. The highlight was the exceptionally hospitable, friendly and professional staff. Had a very satisfying stay. The location is not good due and also to locate it at a rainy night was near impossible due to not visible signage. But the staff, especially at the front desk , Morgan was brilliant. So was Simon at the bar / restaurant who’s was very professional , friendly and nice.. overall the experience was very fulfilling.
